Job summary

Karbon Homes is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to protect systems, data and services within the ICT & Digital Transformation team. The role leads security monitoring, incident response and drives secure design across cloud and on‑prem infrastructure in a collaborative environment.

You will work closely with ICT, project teams and external partners to embed best practices, support audits, and promote a strong security culture across the organisation. A proactive, agile approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in cyber security with enterprise tech.
• Strong cloud experience, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to manage security incidents under pressure.
• Relevant cyber security certifications or plan to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience collaborating with external partners and agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across security monitoring, threat detection and incident response.
• Lead vulnerability management, patching and endpoint security improvements.
• Influence secure network, cloud and endpoint design across technology change.
• Support cyber governance, reporting, audit readiness and compliance assurance.
• Champion cyber awareness and promote a strong security culture across Karbon.
