Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain security solutions protecting client systems, applications and data. You will work across cloud, on‑premises and hybrid environments, embedding security best practices and enabling proactive threat detection and response.

The role involves designing security tooling, automation, and policy development, with a focus on secure configurations, risk reduction, and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity with experience in secure design and threat modeling.
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining security solutions across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Ability to embed security best practices and align with industry standards and CIS benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security tools, systems, and processes to protect infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Partner with other engineering and security teams to embed security best practices.
• Automate security tooling and SIEM log ingestion to improve detection and response.
• Manage firewall and network configurations across hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards and procedures.
• Conduct security assessments using tooling such as CIS benchmarks.
