Job summary

The Port of London Authority in Gravesend is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to translate cyber security requirements into practical actions and evidence. You will work with IT, Navigation Systems and business teams to understand requirements, gather evidence and keep improvement plans on track.

Your role focuses on governance and coordination, ensuring evidence supports requirements and actions are completed. This is a chance to contribute to regulatory compliance and CAF/ISO27001 assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, governance, assurance, audit, risk or a related role.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of cyber security concepts and CAF/ISO 27001 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Translate cyber security requirements into practical actions and evidence.
• Gather, organise and review evidence to demonstrate security controls work.
• Coordinate improvement plans, monitor deadlines and follow up actions.
• Keep policies, risk registers and compliance records accurate and up to date.
• Support audits and regulatory assessments by preparing evidence and coordinating responses.
• Produce progress reports and highlight gaps to improve compliance management.
