The Port of London Authority in Gravesend is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to translate cyber security requirements into practical actions and evidence. You will work with IT, Navigation Systems and business teams to understand requirements, gather evidence and keep improvement plans on track.
Your role focuses on governance and coordination, ensuring evidence supports requirements and actions are completed. This is a chance to contribute to regulatory compliance and CAF/ISO27001 assessments.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Base: London River House, Gravesend (DA12 2BG)
We are the UK’s biggest port, central to the country’s economy and ambitions for growth. We connect the UK to the world, but we are much more than a conventional port.
We are driven by our purpose to protect and improve the 95 mile stretch of the River Thames which is tidal – from Teddington Lock on the border of Surrey, through the heart of London, Kent, Essex and out to the North Sea.
Help us turn cyber security requirements into clear actions and lasting improvements.
We’re looking for an organised, thoughtful person to support cyber security compliance at the Port of London Authority. You’ll work with colleagues across IT, Navigation Systems and the wider business to understand requirements, gather evidence and keep improvement plans on track.
The focus is on governance and coordination – understanding what we need to demonstrate, checking that evidence supports it and following actions through to completion. You’ll work alongside our team to understand requirements, ask questions and identify where further evidence or action is needed.
Your work will help us meet our regulatory obligations and assess our security against the National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF). It’s an opportunity to develop your career in cyber security while supporting essential services on the River Thames.
