Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a Vice President of Cyber Security in London to serve as a senior cyber advisor reporting to the Regional CISO, UK & Ireland. You will influence business and technology leadership, review complex risk issues, and drive pragmatic security improvements across the bank.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Risk Management or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 10–15 years in cyber security, technology risk, security architecture or related financial services roles
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, OSCP, CREST, GIAC/SANS, SABSA, and vendor specific certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide senior cyber advisory and constructive challenge to business, technology, and cyber teams.
• Review complex cyber issues and support solution design across testing, vulnerability management, lessons learned, and architecture reviews.
• Translate security insights into pragmatic remediation plans to reduce risk exposure.
• Lead regulatory alignment activities, including impact assessments and evidence reviews; respond to supervisory queries.
• Drive change by identifying recurring control weaknesses and opportunities to simplify cyber processes and governance.
• Prepare clear executive risk narratives and updates for senior stakeholders and governance bodies.
• Act as regional point of orchestration for cross-functional cyber activities with measurable outcomes.
• Support client, business, and external engagement with credible cyber input.
