Vacancy Description

What will the apprentice be doing:

• Actively monitor, triage & coordinate the response to security alerts & incidents and health warnings identified by security applications with site IT infrastructure teams and other stakeholders to ensure correct local actions and escalations are completed. Ensure that INEOS Inovyn response procedures are fully executed in order to promptly act to contain incidents.
• Collaborate with the other members of the Cyber Security team to manage and implement advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities, test and evaluate security products in order to mitigate threats. Recommend enhancements to ensure continuous improvement of security measures.
• Plan and conduct audits to ensure compliance with all security mandates e.g. operating system, user accounts and software standards. Raise and Monitor work requests with specific site teams as required in order to improve compliance.
• Participate in obtaining several certifications - Compliance with NIS2 and External Standards (e.g. Cyber Essentials).
• Develop and maintain a streamline report for Cyber Security key performance indicators to track compliance and improve cyber protection implementation.
• Managing full project life cycle: research, design, development, testing and implementation.
