Job summary

Focus Group is expanding its Presales team in the UK, seeking a Cyber Presales Consultant to lead and shape security solutions for SME customers. You will run discovery, design robust cyber solutions and present compelling business benefits while owning technical docs and RFP responses.

The role combines deep security expertise with client-facing presales, across Microsoft 365 Defender, MDR/EDR and firewall technologies, in a Hybrid UK office setting.

Qualifications

• Deep cyber security presales or technical consultancy experience.
• MSP/MSSP background preferred.
• Strong credentials with Microsoft 365 Defender, MDR/EDR and firewalls.
• Ability to translate technical risk for business owners.
• Experience writing commercial proposals and RFP responses.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle from first conversation to close.
• Run discovery calls, workshops and technical assessments with customers.
• Design robust cyber security solutions fully validated before customer delivery.
• Present solutions with clear business value and cost savings.
• Own designs, network diagrams and statements of work.
• Lead or co-lead RFP responses with compelling proposals.
• Act as presales SME for Focus Group's cyber portfolio.
