Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is recruiting a Cyber and Information Security Analyst to join its Cyber and Information Security Team. Based within the Information Governance Unit, the post holder will support the monitoring and improvement of cyber security systems and technical controls.

The role includes investigating security alerts and incidents, supporting risk and vulnerability management, undertaking technical assurance activities, and working with internal teams, partner organisations and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate relevant cyber security knowledge and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel across the service area.
• Willingness to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check and employment checks.
• Sponsorship eligibility guidance may apply for UK work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve cyber security systems and technical controls.
