Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Children with Disabilities Social Worker for Northamptonshire Children's Trust in Kettering. The role covers CIN, CP and Children in Care with statutory responsibilities and multi-disciplinary collaboration. You will assess needs, plan care packages and provide short breaks.

The position is 37 hours per week, hybrid with three days office-based, offering £38 per hour. Register with Social Work England and bring CWD experience to this agency role.

Qualifications

• Current Social Work England registration.
• Experience working with Children with Disabilities.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in children’s social care.
• Experience in CIN, CP and/or Children in Care work.
• Strong assessment, safeguarding and risk management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals.

Responsibilities

• Undertake statutory work with children with disabilities and their families.
• Perform assessments of need and develop care packages.
• Arrange short breaks and coordinate multi-disciplinary planning.
• Work within Child in Need, Child Protection and Children in Care frameworks.
• Engage with multi-agency colleagues to support families and children.
