Caritas Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Children with Disabilities Social Worker for Northamptonshire Children's Trust in Kettering. The role covers CIN, CP and Children in Care with statutory responsibilities and multi-disciplinary collaboration. You will assess needs, plan care packages and provide short breaks.

The position is 37 hours per week, hybrid with three days office-based, offering £38 per hour. Register with Social Work England and bring CWD experience to this agency role.

Formación

• Current Social Work England registration.
• Experience working with Children with Disabilities.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in children’s social care.
• Experience in CIN, CP and/or Children in Care work.
• Strong assessment, safeguarding and risk management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake statutory work with children with disabilities and their families.
• Perform assessments of need and develop care packages.
• Arrange short breaks and coordinate multi-disciplinary planning.
• Work within Child in Need, Child Protection and Children in Care frameworks.
• Engage with multi-agency colleagues to support families and children.

Caritas Recruitment is looking for an experienced Children with Disabilities Social Worker to join Northamptonshire Children's Trust, based in Kettering.

This is a specialist CWD role working with children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection and Children in Care. You'll be joining a service where you'll undertake statutory work with children with disabilities and their families, including assessments of need, care packages, short breaks and multi-disciplinary working.

The role

• £38 per hour
• 37 hours per week
• Based in Kettering
• Hybrid working, with 3 days office based

• Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP) and Children in Care
• Undertaking assessments of need
• Care package and short-break work
• Multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working

What we're looking for

To be considered, you'll need:

• Current Social Work England registration
• Previous Children with Disabilities experience
• At least 3 years' relevant post-qualifying experience, meeting the client's DfE requirements
• Strong experience within statutory children's social care
• Experience working across CIN, CP and/or Children in Care
• Confident assessment, safeguarding and risk management skills
• Ability to work effectively with children, families and multi-disciplinary professionals
