Job summary

White Recruitment Construction is seeking a Customs Manager to lead a 4-person team in Dagenham, overseeing end-to-end import/export customs. The role is 100% office-based with responsibility for compliance, VAT and duties, and HMRC interactions.

Salary is circa £50,000 and negotiable depending on experience; the position is full-time and permanent, based in Dagenham, Essex.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years customs experience.
• Strong knowledge of the full import/export customs process.
• Experience dealing directly with HMRC.
• Previous team leadership/supervisory experience.
• Experience using Sequoia.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

I'm recruiting for an experienced Customs Manager to join a well-established international logistics business based in Dagenham.

This is a hands-on leadership role, managing a team of 4 and taking ownership of the full customs function across import and export movements.
