Job summary

WR Logistics seeks an experienced Customs Manager to lead a 4-person customs team in our Dagenham operation. The role focuses on end-to-end customs processes, compliance, and liaison with HMRC to ensure smooth import/export activities.

The successful candidate will manage VAT/duties, oversee entries and forms for trailers, and mentor staff to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Office-based role with negotiating salary around £50,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in customs with full import/export process knowledge.
• Experience handling HMRC inquiries.
• Experience leading a small team (4 operators).
• Proficient in Sequoia software.

Location: Dagenham, Essex

Salary: Circa £50,000 - Negotiable DOE

Working Pattern: 100% Office-Based

I'm recruiting for an experienced Customs Manager to join a well-established international logistics business based in Dagenham.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Experience dealing directly with HMRC
• Previous team leadership/supervisory experience
