Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel in Kegworth is seeking a Customs Specialist to join our Exception Management team. You will monitor systems to identify and classify exceptions, resolve issues within SLAs, and coordinate with customers and hauliers to drive timely resolutions.

You will contribute to proactive process improvements, perform root cause analysis, and provide updates to stakeholders. The role includes 4 days on, 4 days off shifts and benefits from our pension plan and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Identify exceptions within processes, systems, or transactions and prioritise by severity.
• Resolve exceptions and develop corrective actions with timely collaboration.
• Audit support to ensure compliance and feedback for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify exceptions within processes, systems, or transactions – monitor data and systems to detect anomalies, analyse, root cause, classify and prioritise based on severity & impact.
• Efficiently resolve exceptions & prevent recurrence – developing corrective actions and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve promptly.
• Internal team audit support to ensure compliance and take audit results into account for consistency and improvement.
• Maintain effective communication regarding exceptions and update stakeholders on status.
