Job summary

Pertemps Liverpool is seeking a permanent Customs Coordinator based in Speke, Liverpool (L24). The role is office-based with a salary up to £35,000 and shifts 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday.

You will complete import and export customs entries, manage procedures, and ensure compliance with current regulations, supporting efficient movement of goods while maintaining accurate records. A background in customs and strong organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customs experience.
• Experience in freight forwarding/shipping/logistics environment.
• Proficiency with customs software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete import and export customs declarations. Process entries through the relevant customs systems – currently use Azyra. Review and verify associated shipping documents and ensure correct commodity codes, values and procedures.
