Pertemps North West and North Wales in Speke, Liverpool (L24) seeks a Customs Coordinator to join our growing logistics team on a permanent, office-based basis. You will handle import/export declarations, ensure compliance, and manage customs procedures to keep shipments moving efficiently.

The role requires at least 1 year of customs experience, familiarity with HMRC regulations, and proficiency with customs software (Azyra) and MS Office.

Qualificações

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of customs experience.
• Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics or customs environment.
• Strong understanding of customs procedures and regulations.
• Completion of import and export customs entries.

Responsabilidades

• Complete import and export customs declarations.
• Process entries through relevant customs systems - currently use Azyra.
• Review and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping docs.
• Ensure correct commodity codes, customs values, countries of origin, and procedure codes.
• Monitor customs clearances and resolve delays, queries, or holds.
• Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory authorities as required.
• Communicate with customers regarding customs requirements, clearances, and missing information.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate discrepancies or compliance concerns.

Job Title: Customs Coordinator

Location: Speke, Liverpool (L24)

Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)

Hours: Monday- Friday 08:00- 16:00 or 09:00- 17:00

Contract: Permanent

THIS ROLE IS 100% OFFICE BASED.

Our client a freight forwarding and logistics company is seeking an experienced Customs Coordinator to join their growing logistics team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for completing customs entries and managing all associated customs procedures, ensuring goods are imported and exported efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with current customs regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual with previous customs experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional and fast-paced environment.

As a Customs Coordinator your duties will be:
