Job summary

Co-op is hiring a Customer Team Member to join a friendly, fast-moving store team. You’ll help deliver essential services to the community, with duties ranging from counter service and stock checks to assisting with online orders and in-store promotions.

You’ll be part of a team that keeps shelves stocked, prices accurate, and customers supported while promoting Co-op membership and community engagement. Training is provided and variety in shifts is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service, help resolve issues and keep customers satisfied
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly
• Handle shop floor duties, tills, and daily operations to create a great shopping experience
• Maintain stock levels, check prices, dates, and stock accuracy
• Ensure store safety and legality, including correct pricing and temperatures
• Promote Co-op Membership and engage with the local community
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping people and delivering excellent service
• Be flexible across shifts and work well within a busy store environment
