Job summary

Co-op is looking for Customer Team Members to join our local store team. You will work in a fast-moving retail environment, delivering friendly service and helping with daily operations across the shop floor and tills.

Training is provided and you’ll engage with customers and the community, contributing to a welcoming store experience. You may assist in post office, bakery, or online order-packing roles, depending on the store.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required, just a friendly approach.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-moving store.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
• Good communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful service on the shop floor and tills.
• Assist with keeping shelves stocked, prices and stock accuracy.
• Support day-to-day store operations and customer queries.
• Promote Co-op membership and services to customers.
• Assist with online order pick and pack where applicable.
• Maintain store standards and safety compliance.
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming store environment.
