Job summary

Co-op is recruiting Customer Team Members in Portree to deliver friendly, helpful service and keep the store running smoothly. You may work in the post office, bakery, or assist with online order picking and packing for home delivery. The role includes training, multiple shift patterns, and weekend closings as part of a supportive team.

You will help stock shelves, assist customers, promote Co-op membership, and engage with the local community while maintaining store standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day store operations by delivering friendly and thoughtful service.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Handle tills and shop floor duties to create a great shopping experience.
• Help maintain shelves, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and compliance with pricing, dates and temperatures.
