Job summary

Co-op Group in Scotland is hiring Customer Team Members to join our local Co-op store. The role involves delivering friendly, helpful service, working on the shop floor, tills, post office counter, or online order picking and packing for home delivery.

You’ll be part of a small, busy team and help provide essential services to your community. The role is part-time (12 hours per week) with regular overtime and permanent contract.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers on the shop floor and tills.
• Support the day-to-day running of the store and teamwork to keep the store running smoothly.
• Assist with post office counter transactions or online order picking and packing for home delivery as needed.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and stock accuracy, and maintain safe, legal store operations.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support local community initiatives.
