Job summary

Co-op is looking for Customer Team Members to join our local store. You will work in a busy environment, delivering friendly service on the shop floor and tills, while supporting stock checks, pricing, and community engagement.

You'll be part of a welcoming team, with full training provided and opportunities to develop in-store roles such as post office or online order picking. Weekend shifts and flexible availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy shop.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including weekends.
• Good numeracy for money handling and stock checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and helpful service on the shop floor and tills.
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Stock shelves, check prices and dates, and keep stock accurate.
• Promote Co-op Membership and engage with customers in the community.
• Ensure store is clean, safe, and compliant with policies.
