Job summary

Co-op is hiring a Customer Team Member for our Stanley store. You’ll work on the shop floor and tills, helping customers, stocking shelves, and supporting daily store operations with a friendly, can-do attitude.

Shifts are varied, including early mornings, afternoons and late evenings, with at least one weekend shift. The role offers full training, a permanent part-time contract and an hourly rate of £13.04, plus regular overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers and assist with store operations.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate tills and handle stock on the shop floor, pricing and stock checks.
• Promote Co‑op Membership and support your local community.
• Help keep shelves stocked and maintain store standards for safety and legality.
