Job summary

Co-op Sheffield is seeking a Customer Team Member to deliver friendly service on the shop floor, till, and in potential post office or bakery sections. You will help keep shelves stocked and assist customers with a smile.

You will work varied shifts, including early mornings and weekends, with full paid training and the chance to join a community-focused retailer that offers member discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Willing to work flexible shifts as part of a team.
• Interest in retail; experience not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and contribute to daily operations to create a great shopping experience
• Help maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy
• Make sure the store is safe and legal - keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community
