Job summary

CO-OP is seeking a Customer Team Leader to manage a small store team and deliver essential local services. You’ll engage with customers, support a range of in‑store activities, and help drive membership growth while maintaining high store standards and safety.

You’ll lead by example, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with the Store Manager to keep shelves stocked and operations running smoothly, including during busy periods and community events.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team in a retail setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Retail operations knowledge including stock, merchandising and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations on your shift.
• Coach and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work on shop floor and tills to maintain pace and accuracy.
• Support merchandising, stock checks and HR processes.
• Promote Co-op membership and community engagement.
