Customer Service Expert - Starting salary between 25,400 - 29,028 (depending on hours, location, skills, and experience)


Our standard full-time contracts are for 35 hours per week (with options for part-time working). We also offer an enhanced 40-hour contract for more flexibility.


Allocated shift pattern between 08:00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday

A bit about the job:

Provide excellent service, aligned with Aviva's values: Care, Commitment, Community, and Confidence. We focus on the quality of personalized service. You will be supported with comprehensive training to handle customer and financial adviser needs, especially in our Wealth Organisation, supporting areas like:

  • Investment Bonds
  • Pension Savings
  • Platform Investments

Product knowledge is secondary to the care and support you provide to customers.


Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly phone manner
  • Strong fact-finding ability to understand customer needs
  • Team-oriented with a desire to learn and deliver great service
  • Ability to understand digital tools to improve customer experience
  • Positive attitude, capable of handling difficult conversations and objections

Please note: This role is not sponsorship-eligible under the Home Office points-based system.


What you'll get for this role:

  • Salary: between 25,400 and 28,500 (depending on hours, location, skills, experience). A 40-hour contract offers up to 32,571 salary.
  • Bonus: 6% of annual salary based on performance
  • Pension: Up to 14% contribution from Aviva
  • Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays, with options to buy/sell days
