Our client is seeking a Software Configuration Specialist to join their growing technical support function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring systems are correctly set up and perform reliably from the very beginning. You will be working behind the scenes to support seamless installations and help internal teams deliver consistently high service levels.
- Get hands on with building and managing system configurations that directly affect service quality and client satisfaction
- Work alongside product and technical colleagues to understand requirements and translate them into working setups
- Help reduce errors and support improvements by building processes that are robust and repeatable
- Play a central role in keeping installations smooth and efficient while supporting colleagues across various teams
- Be part of a company that values internal knowledge sharing and encourages input on how to do things better
This role will suit someone with technical curiosity and a thoughtful, process driven mindset. You might not come from an identical background, but if you enjoy technical environments and are confident around systems, this could be a great next step.
- Strong Background using Linux Operating systems (Home Lab setups a bonus)
- Extensive usage of SIP/VOIP and Telco systems
- Build on your experience working with technical teams or managing configurations in a digital or hardware setting
- Develop your troubleshooting skills and play an active part in improving how things are done
- Work on projects that support both internal and customer facing outcomes
- A salary of £40,000 to £45,000 depending on your experience
