Job summary

Mitsubishi Power EMEA in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Support Engineer - Gas Turbines & Power Generation to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. This technical role supports operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and commissioning of large generators, gas turbines, steam turbines and related systems.

You will work with customers, field service teams and suppliers to resolve issues, perform on-site commissioning, vibration/combustion analysis and technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or power engineering.
• Experience in generator or turbine operation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of gas and steam turbine operation.
• Experience writing technical specs and documentation.
• Excellent report writing and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for operation and maintenance of gas/steam turbines.
• Troubleshoot and inspect mechanical and electrical components.
• Lead RCA investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports and specifications.
• Support RFQ/PO preparation and vendor qualification.
• Build strong customer relationships and communicate effectively.
