Job summary

BAKO Group Limited in Cullompton is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to support our sales office. You will handle orders, manage enquiries, and help maximise sales opportunities while ensuring high levels of customer care.

With about 40 hours per week and a salary around £23,504, the role focuses on effective account management, cross-selling, and collaboration with other departments to fulfil customer needs and promote promotions and new products.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2 years’ experience in a customer service call centre or retail environment.
• Experience in cross selling, introducing new lines and selling promotional products
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience of working towards pre-defined KPI’s; be flexible
• Be a good team player

Responsibilities

• Process orders in a timely fashion with cut-off times and maximise sales opportunities.
• Handle new customer enquiries professionally and pass to sales with factual information.
• Convert existing enquiries to live orders where possible.
• Encourage monthly promotions and new product launches.
• Raise credit notes accurately and efficiently.
• Focus on the customer's requirements to ensure service excellence.
• Liaise with other departments to meet customer requirements.
• Report non-conformances via quality incident reports.
• Identify and handle service or product complaints per procedures.
