Job Role Overview

The Customer Success Manager at Boomi is a role that bridges customer advocacy and technical solutioning. You will engage with IT leaders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing adoption of Boomi's platform. Strong technical knowledge in system architectures, cloud integrations, automation, data architecture, and API management is essential to provide advanced insights and ensure long-term customer value.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Outcome-Focused Engagement: Develop success plans with customers based on Boomi’s methodology, aligning solutions with business goals.
  2. Platform Adoption: Drive onboarding and adoption strategies to maximize product utilization and accelerate value realization.
  3. Strategic Guidance: Identify customer challenges and position Boomi as the strategic solution, providing industry and technical insights.
  4. Building Champions: Cultivate advocates within customer organizations, maintaining strategic relationships despite organizational changes.
  5. Competitive Positioning: Highlight Boomi’s unique value propositions and differentiate from competitors.
  6. Technical Acumen: Address technical challenges, conduct deep dives, and help customers navigate product features.
  7. Data-Driven Insights: Analyze usage data to guide optimization and continuous improvement.
  8. Portfolio Management: Forecast renewals and collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate risks.
  9. Escalation Management: Manage issues effectively, prioritizing and coordinating solutions.
  10. Business Reviews: Conduct reviews to showcase achievements and align future strategies.
Technical Requirements
  • 4+ years in roles such as Solution Architect, Consultant, Systems Engineer, or Technical Account Manager focused on enterprise integration.
  • Deep knowledge of iPaaS, API, Data management, and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience leading enterprise digital transformation projects involving data integration and automation.
  • Ability to engage with CXOs and technical stakeholders on architecture and TCO topics.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Preferred certifications in Middleware iPaaS, Cloud Native, or APIM platforms.
  • Complete Boomi Developer, Architect, and Administrator certifications within first two months of employment.
