These range from rapid point-of-care drug tests to comprehensive services including industry-specific medical assessments, health surveillance, health & wellbeing services, and drug testing both on-site and in laboratories.

The role

We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist based at our Abingdon site, primarily focusing on order fulfillment and family law support, while also providing broader support to our customer service activities across the UK.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work within a talented team dedicated to providing excellent service with a 'Right First Time' approach. The Order Fulfillment team operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring quick decision-making and strong problem-solving skills.

Daily responsibilities include:

  1. Setting up and processing customer and standing orders, informing relevant parties of delivery dates, prioritizing orders, and coordinating shipments.
  2. Managing daily dispatch of orders, liaising with the warehouse to ensure successful delivery, and resolving queries from customers, distributors, and subsidiaries, recording interactions in the company database.
  3. Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, handling incoming calls, providing reception cover during absences, and supporting training and cross-training within the team.
  4. Supporting the Family Law Quotes and Bookings team during absences, managing Family Law inquiries via phone and email, and following up accordingly.
  5. Working closely with Regional Team Leaders and the Networks Team to communicate relevant information, generate reports for management, and meet daily and weekly targets and KPIs.
What you bring

The ideal candidate will have at least secondary education and previous customer service experience, preferably in a booking or order fulfillment environment. You should be proactive, capable of multitasking, and a team player. A positive, helpful attitude, good organizational skills, and excellent telephone manner are essential. You must be open to process improvements and business changes to ensure high-quality customer service. Willingness to learn and take ownership of customer relationships from booking to receipt of results is crucial.
