Inspired Pet Nutrition Ltd is hiring a Customer Services Executive in Thirsk to manage sales orders, communicate with customers, and support Operations and Distribution to ensure timely dispatch. The role emphasizes accurate order processing, proactive information gathering, and effective liaison with internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have prior customer service experience, familiarity with sales order processes, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication via email and telephone,

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, transactional process team.
• Previous customer services or customer focus experience.
• Knowledge of sales order processes or transactional processes in ERP/financial software is desirable.
• Proficient with Excel and willing to learn new processes.
• Excellent communicator with internal and external stakeholders by email and phone.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with customers to obtain information required for order processing.
• Assisting Export Coordinator where needed.
• Managing customer queries and order issues through our feedback system.
• Communicating customer and business issues arising during order processing clearly and promptly.

We're excited to be recruiting for a Customer Services Executive to join our team. You'll be responsible for customer orders through processing sales orders, communicating with our customers and liaising with our Operations and Distribution teams to ensure orders are despatched in a timely manner.

The Role:

To support customer orders through processing sales orders, communicating with our customers and liaising with our Operations and Distribution teams to ensure orders are dispatched in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely processing of orders as they are received following business policies and processes
• Liaising with customers to ensure we have required information to ensure orders are processed accurately
• Assisting Export Coordinator where needed
• Managing customer queries and order issues through our customer feedback system
• Communicating customer and business issues that arise through order process in a timely and clear manner

Knowledge, skills and experience:

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, transactional process team
• Previous customer services or customer focus experience
• Good knowledge of sales order process or a transactional process carried out on a recognised piece of financial / ERP software is desirable
• Excel literate with willingness to learn new processes and procedure
• Excellent communicator with internal and external stakeholders on email and over phone.

The Offer:

• Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire
• Salary: Competitive
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday (hybrid working 4 days in office 1 day remote) between hours of 09:00 - 17:00
• Pension: Employee contributions 3% / Employer contribution 8%
• Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays
