Job summary

Intact Insurance in the UK is seeking a role to support Specialty underwriting teams with accurate processing of new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments. You'll produce documentation and help ensure data integrity.

You’ll work in a collaborative environment with full training, hybrid working, and development opportunities, helping deliver high-quality customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support specialist underwriting teams with accurate processing of new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
• Produce documentation including policies, invoices, certificates, and endorsements to required standards.
• Review underwriting instructions and escalate non-standard information for clarity and compliance.
• Manage daily workflows to meet service levels, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.
• Build relationships with brokers, claims teams and partners to support outcomes.

Your role will play an important part in supporting our Specialty underwriting teams. In your role, you will help deliver accurate, high quality operational support that enables excellent customer outcomes, maintains data integrity, and ensures the smooth running of day to day insurance processes. With full training and development support provided, you will have the opportunity to build valuable industry knowledge while contributing to the success of a collaborative team.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Supporting specialist underwriting teams with accurate processing and administration across new business, renewals, and mid term adjustments.
• Producing documentation including policies, invoices, certificates, and endorsements to agreed quality standards and service levels.
• Reviewing underwriting instructions and escalating unclear or non standard information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Handling daily workflows effectively to meet service expectations, key performance indicators, and regulatory requirements.
• Building positive working relationships with colleagues, brokers, claims teams and other business partners to support successful outcomes.

Your skills and experience:

• Excellent numeracy skills, digital fluency, and ability to use business systems and technology tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high quality work.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build collaborative working relationships.
• Good organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to deal with multiple tasks in a changing environment.
