Thames Water is seeking a proactive Customer Service Technician to join our Smart Metering team. In a field-based role, you will conduct health and safety audits, investigate meter issues, install/replacement meters and provide practical water-saving advice to customers.
You’ll work collaboratively with delivery partners, analyze data for improvements, and help ensure high-quality, compliant service. Hybrid base location, 36 hours weekly, with a strong focus on customer outcomes and safety.
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Technician to join our Smart Metering team. In this varied field-based role, you'll help ensure our customers receive the highest level of service while supporting the efficient operation of our metering programme. You'll investigate and resolve meter issues, carry out installations and replacements, deliver quality and safety audits, and help customers reduce water usage through practical advice and simple water-saving solutions. Working closely with customers, delivery partners and the Smart Meter Operations Centre, you'll play a key role in improving performance, driving quality and supporting our environmental commitments.
