Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Team Leader to join a leading international supply chain organisation in Gloucester. This is a full-time, office-based role, ideal for someone with a strong background in supply chain operations and a passion for delivering and improving customer service standards.

You will be responsible for leading the customer service team to enhance client satisfaction, while ensuring full compliance with customs and international trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the customer service team
  • Develop processes and service quality standards to improve customer satisfaction
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with customs-related activities and documentation
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Identify training needs and support team development
  • Handle escalations and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
  • Monitor team performance and report KPIs to senior management
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service leadership role within a supply chain, logistics, or freight environment
  • Strong understanding of customs compliance and international trade processes
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
