Customer Service Team Leader – Cheltenham Up to £30,000 DOE | Full-Time | Permanent Cheltenham Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm + 1 Saturday per monthAre you an experienced customer service professional ready to step into a leadership role? You’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day customer interactions across phone, email, and webchat, while coaching and supporting your team to consistently deliver excellent service.What You’ll Be Doing:Leading and supporting a small customer service team in daily operationsActing as a point of escalation for more complex queries and customer complaintsMonitoring response times and ensuring service standards are metProviding hands-on support via phone, email, and chat as neededCollaborating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve order and stock queriesTraining and mentoring team members, identifying development opportunitiesOverseeing payment processes and ensuring customer satisfaction throughoutAssisting with recruitment, rotas, and team planning where requiredWhat We’re Looking For:Previous experience in customer service, ideally with some team leadership or supervisory responsibilitiesExcellent communication skills – both written and verbalAbility to motivate, support, and coach a team to perform at their bestStrong problem-solving skills and the confidence to handle escalated issuesOrganised, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentRetail or e-commerce background is desirable but not essentialBenefits:Generous company annual leaveStaff discountCompany pensionOn-site parkingRegular company events and socialsReady to lead a team that puts the customer first?
