Job summary

Rail Gourmet is hiring for a Customer Service Assistant to support on-board catering operations. You will be responsible for driving platform trucks, loading and unloading catering stock from trains, and managing stock orders with strict health, safety and food hygiene standards.

The role offers a pay rate of £13.45 per hour, full-time hours (40 per week) with rotational shifts including weekends. Rail Gourmet provides benefits such as staff discounts, training programs and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive platform trucks for train-side deliveries (Full training provided).
• Load/offload catering equipment/stock from trains.
• Order assembly and stock control.
• Comply with Health & Safety/Food Hygiene Regulation.
