Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is hiring a Customer Service Representative (Part Time) in Barlborough. This office-based role involves supporting customers with queries and delivering resolutions while maintaining high service standards.

The position offers a structured induction and a friendly, energetic team in the waste and recycling sector. You will join a dedicated customer service contact centre with shifts between 7.45am–5.30pm (weekdays) and 8am–1pm on Saturdays on a rota basis.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping customers.
• Experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is helpful, but not essential; induction will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer queries in a contact centre and provide resolutions.
• Deliver excellent customer service and support customers with empathy.
• Work as part of a dedicated team in a busy environment.

A great opportunity to join our amazing customer services team in the waste and recycling industry.

• Customer Service Representative
• Barlborough (Office Based)
• Permanent / Part time - 18 hours minimum
• Shifts between the hours of 7.45am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday 8am – 1pm Saturdays (on a rota basis)

Working in our customer service contact centre, you will be joining a dedicated, passionate, fun and energetic team, helping customers with queries and most importantly offering them resolutions whilst delivering excellent customer service.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about customers, has excellent communications skills, attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to keep calm under pressure. Ideally you will have some experience within a customer service environment. Knowledge of Microsoft office would be helpful, but is not essential, as we will provide a comprehensive 4-week induction plan to support you.
