Job description

As a Customer Service Reception you will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure all customer queries are dealt with promptly and appropriately. You will also be required to organise the collection and delivery of both customer and courtesy vehicles.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Understanding customer needs and expectations
  • Maintain a presence at the Reception Desk to ensure all customer queries are addressed.
  • Initiate job documentation and maintain customer records and follow-up systems.
  • Follow procedures when issuing customers with courtesy cars and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Explain courtesy car controls to customers and advise on the best type of fuel to use.
  • Ensure the courtesy cars are covered with the correct insurance before allowing the customer access.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance company policies including but not limited to provision of courtesy cars and labour rates.
  • Liaise with workshop to determine completion times on jobs
  • Liaise with production manager and assistant to advise on when the policy holder is arriving.
  • General administration.
About You:
  • Ideally, you have prior customer service experience.
  • Ideally you have some knowledge and understanding of insurance company policies.
  • You have a strong work ethic to provide the best quality service.
  • You are a team-player.
  • You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • You are committed to delivering an excellent customer service.
  • Ideally, you will hold a full UK driving license.
