About Our Client

Page Group are working in partnership with a global specialist within the chemicals industry who are now looking for a new Customer Service Manager. This role will have full ownership of an internal CS Team and will drive strategy and performance across the department

Job Description

  • Lead motivate and inspire the Customer Service function (9fte) to deliver world class service during all customer interactions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key B2B customers through transparency and clear communications
  • Ensure customer quotations are accurate, in line with expectations and meet customer needs
  • Provide support to field sales functions around product information and availability and costings
  • Manage customer orders from cradle to grave including quotations, order processing through to arranging dispatch and delivery
  • Work closely with purchasing to understand stock availability, customer lead times and customer demand
  • Regularly review operating process and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose and provide a positive customer journey
  • Take ownership of any escalated customer issues in a timely manor
  • Ensure the team have all the tools and product knowledge to support customers

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in a similar customer service management role
  • Chemicals Industry background - advantageous
  • Experience on Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong people manager and developer
  • Ability to build high performing teams

Working Monday to Friday with a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week

Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience plus extensive company benefits including private medical cover
