Job summary

Edwards & Pearce seeks a proactive Customer Service Coordinator in Hull to act as the communication hub between customers, engineers, suppliers and internal teams. You will manage enquiries, schedule service visits, and record all activity to keep operations running smoothly.

In this role you will support deliveries, handovers of new machines, and assist with sales by logging opportunities while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing customer enquiries across telephone and email channels with professionalism and clarity.
  • Coordinating engineers and scheduling service visits to ensure timely support.
  • Assisting customers experiencing equipment breakdowns and facilitating swift resolutions.
  • Accurately recording all service activity within internal systems.
  • Processing parts orders from initial enquiry through to dispatch.
  • Monitoring deliveries and providing customers with timely updates.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with customers and external service partners.
  • Supporting the delivery and handover of new machines to customers.
  • Assisting with transport-related enquiries and arrangements.
  • Following up completed service work to confirm customer satisfaction.
  • Handling invoice queries and general administration tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting the sales team by contacting prospective customers and logging new opportunities.
