Job summary

Derbyshire County Council seeks a Customer Service Advisor to join the Traded Adverts & DBS Team. You will support DBS applications, advise on onboarding, and handle traded recruitment adverts with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The role involves liaising with managers, schools and external partners to ensure timely processing and a high standard of customer service across Derbyshire.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, HR, DBS/safeguarding, customer service, or administration.
• Clear communication of processes to a wide range of customers.
• Attention to detail and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Set up DBS applications, monitor progress and ensure checks are completed accurately.
• Provide guidance to managers, schools, academies, colleagues and partners on DBS requirements, onboarding and legislation.
• Process traded recruitment adverts and support customers through advertising and shortlisting.
• Interpret policy requirements, resolve queries and escalate complex issues.
• Work with Recruitment, Payroll and schools to deliver a joined-up customer experience.
