Job summary

A long standing partner in Rayleigh is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join a busy vehicle repair centre. You will be the first point of contact for customers throughout their repair, coordinating communications between customers, insurers and the workshop.

This four-week temporary contract offers Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break. You will provide regular updates, arrange collections and deliveries, and ensure a smooth, professional service with potential

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in automotive sector preferred.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact for customers during the repair process.
• Provide progress updates every two days.
• Explain repair steps, timescales and insurance processes clearly.
• Arrange site visits and appointments as needed.
• Handle customer queries and escalate issues when required.
• Coordinate vehicle collections/deliveries and courtesy cars.
• Maintain accurate records and correspondences.
