Job summary

BP Retail is seeking a Customer Service Assistant for night shifts in our store. You will join a collaborative team and help deliver great customer experiences while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Training is provided, with 18+ eligibility. This role offers flexible hours, performance-based progression opportunities, and a range of employee benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and teamwork.
• No extensive retail experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of yourself, colleagues, and customers per bp policies.
• Serve customers efficiently and meet their needs promptly.
• Foster a positive, inclusive store environment.
• Prepare and serve items from Wild Bean Café.
• Receive deliveries, restock, and manage stock.
• Promote bp offers, promotions, and loyalty schemes.
• Carry out cleaning across store, facilities and forecourt.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don’t expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and stock management tasks
• Being proactive with supporting bp’s offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt
