Aramark at Fort George, IV2 7TD, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join a busy military catering environment. You will serve customers, support kitchen operations and maintain high cleanliness standards in a frontline role.

The position offers £12.71 per hour, 35 hours per week across 5 days in 7, with on-site parking, meals on duty, and opportunities for training and career progression within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or hospitality is desirable but not required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Responsabilités

• Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with food preparation and service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas.
• Wash dishes, kitchen equipment, crockery, and utensils.
• Support stock replenishment and deliveries.
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures.
• Follow food safety, health & safety, and company procedures at all times.
• Support the wider catering team with day-to-day operations.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join our team at Fort George, IV2 7TD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and customer-focused individual to support both front-of-house and kitchen operations within a busy military catering environment.

What you'll be doing

• Serving food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner

Qualifications

About you

• Previous catering, hospitality, customer service, or kitchen porter experience is desirable but not essential
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service
