Job summary

Aramark at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in Camberley is hiring a General Service Assistant to join a busy catering and hospitality operation. The role offers 20 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7, with 50 weeks per year and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

You will support front-of-house service, assist with bar service, and perform kitchen porter duties while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over due to bar work duties.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working across multiple areas including bar, front-of-house, and kitchen porter duties.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Previous hospitality, catering, retail, or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out kitchen porter duties, including washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Operate tills and handle customer transactions.
• Support food service operations during busy periods.

• Replenish stock and ensure service areas are well presented.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
• Work flexibly across different areas of the operation to support business needs.

We are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to join our team at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Camberley, GU15 4PQ. Additional Information

• Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check prior to commencing employment.
