Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited in Stamford is seeking a friendly Customer Service Assistant for a permanent part-time role. The position offers 14.5 hours per week, weekend work, and pay between £10.85 and £12.71 per hour.

You’ll support stock management, handle goods inwards, and help maintain an inviting store presentation. As part of Retail, you’ll deliver excellent customer service, use the POS system, and follow health & safety and GDPR guidelines.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage systems accurately.
• Health & Safety and GDPR compliance awareness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Delivering excellent customer service that is friendly, respectful, and solution-focused.
• Supporting the store team in maximising sales opportunities through product knowledge.
• Taking ownership of a designated department and driving sales through merchandising and promotions.
• Reviewing stock levels and adjusting seasonally to meet customer needs.
• Processing goods inwards and maintaining stock file accuracy.
• Ensuring visual merchandising standards are met and the store is well-presented.
• Becoming proficient in cash handling and following company procedures.
• Working in line with health & safety guidelines and GDPR compliance.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 14.5 Hours per week, working Saturday and Sunday

As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll play an important part in maximising store performance by delivering outstanding service and supporting the presentation and availability of products. From assisting with stock management to offering knowledgeable advice, you'll ensure every interaction reflects our values: Customer First, Honest, Committed, Knowledgeable, Courageous, and Innovative.
