Job summary

Wickes is hiring at our Broadstairs store to deliver excellent customer service and support across the shop floor. You will help customers, assist with stock placement, and contribute to a welcoming, efficient store environment.

This role is part-time, requires forklift training, and includes opportunities for training and progression in a down-to-earth team. You’ll join a supportive employer offering a competitive benefits package and a focus on developing your career with us.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Must be available to work Saturdays or Sundays.
• 18+ because forklift training is required.

The Role...

Whatever your role in and around the store, everything you do will be focused on the customer experience. Parking will be a breeze, trolleys in easy reach, help always at hand, stock in the right place, deliveries out on time and payment met with a smile.Of course, while you’re creating a helpful and friendly customer experience, we’ll be thinking of new ways to reward, develop and invest in you. You’ll receive all the training, support and opportunities you need. Think of it as a down-to-earth place to work, where you get to go up in the world.

We have 2 x positions available:

1 x 24 hours per week and 1 x 15 hours per week, candidates must be available to work on a Saturday or Sunday, plus early or late shfts during the week.

Candidates must be 18yrs and over as you will need to be forklift trained.

Every day you’ll be dealing with and assisting customers, so it’s important that you offer every person that walks through our doors a high level of customer service. We look for someone who ideally has experience working in a similar role.
