Job summary

Wickes in Ashby-de-la-Zouch is seeking a customer-focused team member for a 16-hour part-time role. You will assist customers, ensure the right stock is available and help with timely deliveries, while enjoying training and career development in a down-to-earth store environment.

The role requires two late shifts on Thursdays (12am-8pm) and one Saturday shift (11am-7pm). We offer a competitive hourly rate, gain-share bonus, pension, generous annual leave, staff discounts and wellbeing benefits.

The Role...

Whatever your role in and around the store, everything you do will be focused on the customer experience. Parking will be a breeze, trolleys in easy reach, help always at hand, stock in the right place, deliveries out on time and payment met with a smile.Of course, while you’re creating a helpful and friendly customer experience, we’ll be thinking of new ways to reward, develop and invest in you. You’ll receive all the training, support and opportunities you need. Think of it as a down-to-earth place to work, where you get to go up in the world.

This role is for a 16 hour part-time contract, where you are required to work 2 late shifts 1 on Thursdays from 12am-8pm and 1 shift on Saturday from 11am-7pm.

About you...

Every day you'll be dealing with and assisting customers, so it's important that you offer every person that walks through our doors a high level of customer service. We look for someone who ideally has experience working in a similar role.

• If you are 21 yrs and over £12.71 phr, 18 yrs - 20 yrs £12.00 phr and under 18 yrs £8.82 phr.
• Up to £300 per month gain share bonus
