What You’ll Be Doing

  • Customer Service and Communication:Engage with students and parents, handling inquiries, gathering feedback, making important announcements, and providing exceptional support to enhance their experience with our services.
  • Administrative Duties:Maintain and update student records, adjust program details as necessary, advertise tutor vacancies, and efficiently manage resource allocations to ensure smooth operations.
  • Tutor-Student Pairing:Strategically match newly enrolled students with suitable tutors based on specific educational needs and goals, ensuring clear communication of pairing details to all parties involved.
  • Phone Line Management:Actively monitor and respond to incoming phone queries during business hours, ensuring responsive and helpful service from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays.
  • Seminar Delivery: Coordinate and manage weekly online seminars designed to engage students and provide additional support, enhancing the learning experience and community connection.
  • Programme Support:Assist the Head of Programmes and the Director of Studies by organizing meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining up-to-date programme schedules, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our educational offerings.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience:A minimum of one year in a customer-facing role, demonstrating a proven track record of effective interaction with clients or customers.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills:Strong ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, with a knack for building rapport and fostering positive relationships.
  • Organizational Abilities:Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Customer Orientation:A customer-first approach, capable of handling inquiries with professionalism and poise, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with the university application process, providing insightful support to prospective students and their families.
  • Administrative Experience:Previous experience in administrative duties or programme management is highly desirable, enhancing your ability to contribute effectively to team operations.

Benefits

Pay:£24,000 - £30,000 per year (OTE) based on experience

Bonuses:Performance Related

Location:Five days from your home office. One day per month of team bonding & training in person in Oxfordshire (with lunch provided!).

Job Duration:Full-Time, 40 Hours. Some Weekend & Evening work Required in Peak Periods (September – November)
