Job description

Who we are

Skytanking Aviation Services Inverness Ltd offers ground handling services to both Scheduled & Charter flights operating to and from Inverness Airport, including customer, baggage, and aircraft handling.

Your tasks
  • Processing customers at the check-in desk: tagging baggage, checking travel documentation (passports & visas), seat allocation, issuing boarding passes, collecting airline fees. Fully familiar with airline policies and procedures.
  • Flight boarding: checking boarding passes, ensuring hand baggage complies with airline regulations.
  • Flight arrivals: assisting customers from aircraft to terminal, handling queries including misplaced bags.
  • Office duties: telephone inquiries, flight administration, updating flight information screens.
Your profile

We seek dedicated, service-oriented individuals enthusiastic about customer-facing roles. Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Shift Pattern

This role involves shift work, including weekends and bank holidays. You must be flexible to work varied shifts of 37.5 hours per week, including early starts (around 4:30 am) and late finishes (around 10:30 pm). Shifts may include early/late hours with shift allowances.

Requirements
  • Provide 5 years of checkable references for background verification.
  • Submit a clear criminal record check (Basic Disclosure Scotland).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
