Job summary

Student Roost is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for our Belfast accommodation at John Bell House. The role is a fixed-term contract until 27 September 2027, averaging 37.5 hours per week with flexible scheduling between 8am and 8pm and annualised hours.

You will deliver resident support, handle enquiries, process payments, and help create a welcoming community for students while maintaining accurate records and following procedures. DBS check applies.

• Tech savvy - ability to learn new systems quickly and have good knowledge of MS Office.
• Organised and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable with sales, taking payments, following processes, and keeping accurate records.
• Resilient, with the able to stay calm under pressure, particularly during busy periods
• No prior property experience? No problem! We’re looking for enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a passion for great customer service.

Customer Service Advisor

Location : John Bell House, Belfast

Salary :£27,202.50 per annum (£13.95 per hour)with overtime paid at 1.25 x hourly rate

Hours : Fixed term contract until 27 September 2027. Average of 37.5 hours per week (contracted to 1,950 hours annually) between 8am to 8pm.

This role follows an annualised hours model, meaning your hours will be distributed flexibly throughout the year to meet business and seasonal demands (peak season is July - September where increased hours will be required). However, your salary remains consistent every month. Details will be discussed at interview.
